Two player development camps will be held annually.The camps will be held in September and March, at the beginning and end of the main development programs.
The camps will involve both practical and theoretical sessions. At the camps expert technical tuition will be provided.
All identified athletes will be invited to the first camp, which will provide an induction into the Johnny Warren Football Foundation programs. The second camp at the conclusion of the development program will be for 100 athletes who have excelled. Athletes from all development centres will be invited to attend the camps.
From the final camp, there is the opportunity to identify players for scholarships that would be aimed at encouraging players to maintain their focus on technical development throughout the upcoming football season.
The amount of scholarship offered is to be determined. The Foundation is seeking corporate support to assist with funding of the Scholarship Program.
Where it is possible to deliver, the following support shall be made available to athletes selected into the Program.
