Jamie Warren
Warren Family Representative / Deputy Chairman
Jamie Warren is the nephew and godson of Johnny Warren and is the Co-Executor of the Johnny Warren Estate. Jamie holds a Bachelor of Business in Tourism and is the Executive Director of his family’s hotel in Jamberoo, on the NSW south coast. Like Johnny, Jamie is passionate about football and is committed to ensuring football continues to thrive in Australia.
Jamie starting playing football at age four and represented the Illawarra Region from the age of 10 to 15 and represented NSW in the 13, 14 and 16 year age groups. At age 14, Jamie travelled to Brazil with his uncle, where he was honoured to be signed with the world famous Flamengo Club of Rio de Janeiro. The next year, Jamie trained with Manchester United courtesy of a Big Brother Movement Scholarship. Following this, Jamie played for the Wollongong Wolves and St George Youth teams in the National Youth League before several injuries interrupted his playing career.
Jamie now holds an FFA Youth Coaching License and enjoys coaching junior players at the Kiama Junior Football Club, Jamberoo Public School and Kiama High School. Additionally, Jamie is very active in his support for the Foundation. He organises the ‘Johnny Warren Memorial Cup’ and is a Co-Organiser of the ‘Johnny Warren Golf Classic’, two events that help to financially support the JWFF. In addition, he organises the ‘Johnny Warren Jamberoo Classic’ which raises funds for the Sydney Cancer Centre Foundation.
Lisa Middlebrook
CEO
She joins the Foundation after spending two years with the Australian Labor Party (Federal) as Director of the Federal Labor Business Forum. She worked extensively with Prime Minister Kevin Rudd during the 2007 federal campaign.
Immediately prior to that, she served as the Director of Business Development and Community partnerships at the Lowy Institute. While there she helped organise the Institute’s football seminar in 2006.
In 2005 Lisa returned to Australia after spending 10 years in Washington DC. While in Washington, Lisa worked at the Democratic Leadership Council (DLC) and Progressive Policy Institute as Senior Adviser on trade policy. She also handled external relations and fund-raising with the corporate community and non-profit foundations. She was instrumental in helping establish political relationships for Australia regarding the US/Australia Free Trade Agreement.
Lisa has been a supporter of football for many years. While in Washington in 2003, she was Director of Operations for the Champions World U.S. Football Tournament, handling all ground operations for the Washington DC match between AC Milan and FC Barcelona.
Lisa is a graduate of the University of California Los Angeles (political science and international relations) and serves on the organising committee for the Steve Waugh Foundation.
Darryl Clout
NSW Government Director
Darryl Clout is the General Manager of NSW Sport and Recreation.
Darryl has been a member of the NSW Softball Board from 1995 to 2000 and has been a member of the Softball Australia Board since 1996, serving as President from 2000 to 2004. He is also a member of the International Softball Federation's Administrative Commission, Legislative Commission, the Code Review group and the ISF Strategic Task Force, chaired by former IOC President, Juan Antonia Samaranch.
He has held various roles as Team Administrator and Head of Delegation at a number of Men's World Championships and International tournaments.
Glenn McDowell
Director
Glenn has over 30 years experience in the Australian insurance, financial services and investment banking arena. Most recently, he spent the last 15 years as a Managing Director in the Global Markets Division of Deutsche Bank Australia. Prior to that he served in senior executive positions at both Swiss Bank Corporation and NRMA Insurance.
Glenn is an avid Football fan, weekend player and coach in his local junior association in Sydney. Glenn joined the Board of the Foundation in August 2009.
Les Murray
Co-opted Director - SBS Sport
Les Murray is the host of The World Game on SBS television. Les is an Australian football broadcaster and analyst. He began at SBS as a subtitler in the Hungarian language, but soon turned to covering football.
He has been the host for the SBS coverage of football including World Cups since 1986, as well as Australia's World Cup Qualifiers, most memorably in 1997, 2001 and 2005. Since the very beginning of SBS, Les Murray played a prominent role in enhancing the profile of football in Australia.
Les was made a Member of the Order of Australia for his services to Association football on June 12, 2006 as part of the Queen's Birthday honours list.
In 1996, Murray became SBS's Sports Director, and in 2006, stepped down. He has decided to become an editorial supervisor for SBS instead, while his on-air role remains the same.
Carlo Lo Giudice
Construction Director : Australian Water Holdings Pty Ltd
Carlo is Construction Director of Australian Water Holdings Pty Ltd with a primary role to head the design, construction and delivery component of the company’s current and future Infrastructure works. Carlo has over 22 years experience in the construction industry specialising in Project, Contract and Commercial management. Prior to Australian Water, Carlo worked for 15 years at Westfield in their Construction Division as National Commercial Manger - Construction. He was involved in developing over 18 Centres in Australia and New Zealand worth in excess of $3 Billion in construction cost. He was instrumental in establishing strong systems and controls and use of ‘best practice’ within the industry and has been involved in systems reviews in the USA and UK. Prior to Westfield, Carlo worked in a number of construction companies in various roles, including stints in Project Management and Development.
After graduating from Sydney University in 1984, and prior to entering the construction industry, Carlo worked for an international chartered accounting firm, working in Mergers and Acquisitions and Tax Law. He later worked as a stockbroker, and at that time was one of the youngest in the industry to hold a Dealers Representative licence.
His passion outside work and his family includes, Futsal (he is on the Board of one of the leading Premier league clubs), the development of women's football, cycling and water polo and as Business/Community Director on the JWFF, he brings a vast amount of experience and team spirit to the Board.

Steve Warren is the Regional Manager for American International Group Australia (AIG). Steve has worked for a number of high profile organisations, including Chubb Insurance Group of Companies. He is a strong marketer and a true professional.
Manuel Xipolitas
National Bank Of Australia
Manuel Xipolitas is the National Bank of Australia Regional Executive Manager for the Northern Branches Banking Centre.
He is a keen football follower and still plays the game on weekends. He is a newly appointed member of the Board.
